エ ク リ プ テ ィ カ
a natal chart that knows where the stars really are ♥︎
the app's centrepiece is a glowing 3D sphere of your chart, drawn over the real star field. this is the pocket version: it opens on the sky of right now, but enter your birthday and it becomes your birth sky: sun, moon and every planet at their true places on the ecliptic, aspects and all, computed live in your browser with the same kind of math the app uses.
drag to orbit · no birth time? noon is assumed (the moon may drift a few degrees) · no birthplace needed, the planets look the same from everywhere on earth; your birthplace is what unlocks the rising sign & houses, which the app computes properly ♥︎
♡ your birth date never leaves this page · everything is computed in your browser, nothing is sent, saved, or remembered ♡
astrolabe's sister app: the astrology one. it casts charts the honest way, on the same real astronomical engine that runs the planetarium: sun, moon and planets from proper ephemeris math, houses solved for your actual birthplace and minute. no lookup tables, no shortcuts, no swiss ephemeris.
they're kept separate on purpose: the science app never mixes in symbolism, and this one never pretends to be science. two ways of reading one sky, each given its whole heart.
computed vibes are still vibes. but they're computed.
very much in progress: it runs on my phone and nowhere else. no app store, no testflight. the math is fully grown (it shares a heart with astrolabe); the app around it is still being decorated.
